Growth & Development -
Christ Life Churches and the Sword of the Spirit Ministries International are committed to the continuous growth and development of the believers. According to the Bible: "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment" (Hebrews 6:1-2); we believe that every believer must grow up. It does not matter how long you have been a believer, it is expedient that you continue to grow else decay will soon set in.
The Bible stated that: "As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word of God that you may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2); A new born again believer must grow to become matured and the "matured" believer must continue to grow in ministry and in the service of the master. Every New Testament believers are priests in the order of the priesthood of Jesus the Christ and so we all must come to the growing knowledge of Him that calls us to ministry and everlasting life.
Our growth and development curriculum are based on the truth of the word of God. We believe that no believer can grow up simply by religious activity or occasional attendance of services of your choice. The curriculum includes but is not limited to:
- BELIEVERS CLASS
This is a ten teaching classes that span the foundational doctrine of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- WORKERS TRAINING
This includes a basic training for believers that have completed the foundational classes. It prepares them for service in their local churches and in the body of Christ at large.
- LEADERSHIP, DISCIPLESHIP & MINISTRY
This is packaged to prepare those who desire to be ordained into deeper commitment by ordination into their chose or appointed ministries.
